This is the new series I'm reading. I've already finished the first two and right now I'm reading book three. The Series is called Percy Jackson and the Olympians. They are awesome books. I can't wait till I finish all of them. I read book two in twenty-five and a half hours. I loved it. I think I like it a bit more than Harry Potter. My mom thinks that's amazing... hopefully my mom and dad will read them.
At our school we have AR points. (Accelerated Reader) You have to read books and then take a comprehension test on them to get AR points. So far I have 44.3 points and it's the highest in the class. I've taken the tests for
1)Turn Homeward Hannalee
2)Prince Caspian (Narnia)
3)Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe (Narnia)
4)Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson book one)
5)The Meanest Doll in the World (The Doll People book two)
6)Sea of Monsters (Percy Jackson book two)
Next Tuesday I'll take an AR test on
7)Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Narnia)
8)The Titans Curse (Percy Jackson book three) ...once I finish it this weekend.
Hopefully Rick Riordan makes a fifth book!
Reading is my favorite subject at school. Sometimes I feel like reading all day.... Like today!

I'm so glad you love reading so much. I myself LOVE to read as well. Also, I'm glad you like Percy Jackson so well. I can't decide if I like it better than Harry Potter.

So, I FINALLY just finished book 7 of Harry Potter last week. I read the first 5 books a long time ago, and just never got to books 6 & 7. But now I'm finished and I loved them! These must be really good if you like them better! It seems like there are so many new series out there now . . . for readers just like you, Ryan! It's so great you love to read - it makes you really smart!

Hey Ryan those books sound real cool. I am ready a series called the Warrior series. They are really cool. The best thing is that there are lots of them. My Mom wants me to read the Redwall books next.
