Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

On Christmas Eve we did lots of fun things. We made cookies for Santa, we played Christmas songs on the chimes, we acted out the nativity and after lots of fun we went to bed. I couldn't get to sleep because I was so excited. I finally fell asleep.

I was so excited when I woke up. I looked at the time and it was 6:30 so I woke my Mom and Dad up. My mom made me do my hair to get ready. Dad made us close our eyes as he carried us to where everyone else was gathering. We lined up on the staircase. We had to take a few pictures and finally we went to see our presents from Santa. From Santa I got a soccer goal and a Soccer Wii game. I was so excited to play with it. Then we looked in our stockings. I got a Pikachu toothbrush, and I got race car legos, an orange, a magnet that showed lots of different feelings and something to put on the one you feel. I also got two pokemon figurines... kricketot and chatot.

Then we had breakfast. We ate the traditional potato, eggs, sausage, cheese Christmas breakfast with muffins and grape juice. After a very long breakfast we got to open our presents. My mom and dad got me... 8 pokemon figurines, a big Fireman lego set, a small boat lego set, Super Smash Bros. Brawl Wii game, and Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games Wii game and the movie Kung Fu Panda and Furious 5 movie. My Aunt Amy got me 'Newsies' DVD. My Uncle Brian got me 3 pokemon figurines. My Aunt Ashlyn got me a Sorry Sliders board game. My cousins Tyler and Spencer got me some Pokemon Cards. Grandma and Grandpa Johnson gave me Guitar Hero World Tour Wii game, a book and a shirt and BYU pajama pants. Dan and Sarah got me Horton Hears a Who movie. I was very spoiled. It was an awesome Christmas.

I gave Katie a Disney Fairy book, Emily a Junie B. Jones book, and Megan a crougunk figurine. I got my Dad the movie Ironman and all of the kids gave my Mom some new knives and a knife sharpener.

After we opened up all the presents I started playing my video games.

Halloween fun as a Cowboy!

Halloween was so fun this year. I was a Cowboy. (Sheriff) Luke was a Deputy. The girls were cowgirls. I had so much fun trick-or-treating. At the first house we went to the people there thought we were so cute that they had to take a picture of us. After Emily, Megan, Luke and Mom were done trick or treating, Katie, Dad and I went trick or treating in another neighborhood. On one of the last few houses after we got candy, the person who gave us the candy said, "Say hi to my gorilla". Then we saw a gorilla squatting on the mailbox. At first I thought it was just a toy who looked at whatever was nearest. But then it pretended to start to jump. We got scared.. (just a little). My dad doesn't agree. We stayed away from it as we went to the next house. It kept starring at us. After the next house we ran back to the car watching the gorilla. I got a big bag of candy. I haven't eaten it all yet because there is so much. After we went trick or treating we watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull because we rented it. I think it's an awesome movie.

I LOVE READING!

This is the new series I'm reading. I've already finished the first two and right now I'm reading book three. The Series is called Percy Jackson and the Olympians. They are awesome books. I can't wait till I finish all of them. I read book two in twenty-five and a half hours. I loved it. I think I like it a bit more than Harry Potter. My mom thinks that's amazing... hopefully my mom and dad will read them.

At our school we have AR points. (Accelerated Reader) You have to read books and then take a comprehension test on them to get AR points. So far I have 44.3 points and it's the highest in the class. I've taken the tests for

Reading is my favorite subject at school. Sometimes I feel like reading all day.... Like today!

Lots of fun in Las Vegas

I had a fun time in Las Vegas with my friend Carter. We played on the Wii,
we swam in their pool,

we played at a splash park, (Luke and I had a fun time together)

we saw turtles and ducks,

and we took a picture in front of a waterfall.

One day we went boating, tubbing,

and water skiing. My mom and dad waterskied too.



My favorite thing that week was waterskiing and playing Pokemon figurines with Carter. I stayed up for a long time on the waterskies. I had a fun week in Las Vegas.

My birthday

My birthday was June 23 but I'm going to post about it today.

First I made my own birthday cake. My mom didn't help me at all. It was angel food cake with cool whip all over it and blueberries and raspberries.

I got a bunch of presents. I was so excited to open them.

These are all my presents opened. I loved all my presents. I got two books from Lindsey, a bunch of Pokemon cards from my sisters, a new shirt, Dawn and Buneary, a Wii game, a DS, a DS case and a cub scout patch binder from my Mom and Dad. My two favorite presents were my Wii game and the DS.

Cub Scout Camp

On the first day of cub scout camp we got sorted into our dens. I was a Webelo 1c. I liked my group and my leader even though I wasn't with anyone from my ward. During the whole week we did bb-gun and archery. In bb-gun I qualified to get the bb-gun badge. To qualify you had to get 35 out of 50. I got 47 points. Two shots in the 10 (bullseye!), and three shots in the 9. In archery my best five hits were one hit in the red and two in the black and two in the dirt. Every day we ate lunch at the cafeteria. On the second day there was a yummy cheese sandwich that you could dip into sauce. It was so good. We also played sports like badminton, volleyball and we played a game where we threw the volleyball, birdie and frisbee around in a star sort of. We also did 'athlete'. For athlete we did duck fights where you stand up, hold onto your ankles and push someone else's shoulders to see if you can push them over or make them let go of their ankles. I beat everybody. We also had a race and I beat everyone in my group. We also had classes on nature and science. On the first day we talked about different types of plants and trees. On the second day we talked about the inside of a tree and all the lines, and then we got to play a game with a partner and I won again. The next day we talked about the parts of the tree. The next day we talked about pressure and we got to see lots of cool things about pressure. I also did a skit and it was very fun to do. I want to write all about it but my mom doesn't want to type it out. At the end my mom and sisters came for lunch and the award ceremony. Everyone there got a dogtag and it was very fun. I also bought a picachu bead thing and I'm still working on it. The end of camp.

The brown bumpy jumpy frog

This is my hand holding a frog... one of the best animals in the world. We found it at Hocking Hills in Ohio. We found it by the river and I was excited to pick it up so I got a long turn. It was very fun to hold it. We let Leah and Molly and Megan touch it. When they would touch it they would jump back - all except for Leah. She was trying to grab it. She wasn't scared.





Megan was brave to touch the frog but then she screamed because it felt bumpy and she was scared.
How funny is that picture! Then we let the frog go back into the river. It swam all the way across the river to get away from us. The end.

Funny Lukey Boy

Last Monday at Family Home evening we sang the song 'Old Lady Leary' and on the third time we weren't suposed to say anything. We just had to mouth the words except for the end at FIRE FIRE FIRE! So we sang the third part and once we got to FIRE FIRE FIRE we yelled it and Lukey started crying. It was so cute. And then we saw that Megan was crying too and everyone burst out laughing. It was so funny.

Today Luke learned a new trick. He learned how to roll over. We were working on Megan's room and Lukey was on the floor and then he rolled over when mom was in the closet working. At first she didn't believe us. Then mom kept working in the closet and Luke did it again. This time she believed us because I told her that I saw him with my own eyes.

I love holding Luke. He's the best brother in the whole wide world. I can't wait till he grows up.

Cub projects

In cubs last month we had to make a paper-mache mask and a soap carving. I thought the way we made our masks was very gross. We had to dip our hands in this yucky stuff, dip in some paper and stick it to the balloon. Then after a week we popped the balloons and cut it and it was a mask. Then we painted it. I carved a dog bone with my soap. I call it the ivory dog bone. Now I'm using that soap in my shower. It was fun. I love going to cubs.

Upward Basketball

This is my first season of basketball here in Georgia. I've gotten way better this season. I ended up being so good that my Dad bought me Harry Potter 2 (the only book we didn't have in the Harry Potter series). I kept getting way better. I shot 6 baskets in one game. That's 12 points. The Pinewood Derby Race

Last night we had a pinewood derby. We had to race our cars. 14 cub scouts were there. Here is a picture of my car.
