0ur fourth stop... Columbus, Ohio

This time we stayed at another of our Aunt and Uncle and cousins house named Sarah, Dan, Annie and Leah. With everyone we went to the Columbus Zoo. It was really fun. We saw cool snakes, and real crocodiles and there was also a sign that said, “a certain type of crocodiles lives in Georgia where we will live.” We also saw elephants and monkeys and gorillas. The gorillas were funny because some weird people would try to throw food into their cages but it wouldn’t quite get to their cage so the daddy gorilla reached his hands through the cage and grabbed it and ate it. There was another piece of food by it. And so the baby gorilla was trying to reach it as hard as he could. He used his hands and legs but couldn’t do it. It was funny. We also saw tigers. There was a sign beside it that said, “One cool cat”. The tigers weren’t doing anything cool. They were just lying in a little cave. We also saw sharks and fish in the same tank… but the sharks weren’t eating the fish. I think it was because they were little sharks. There was Okapas. They had zebra striped legs and it looks like a horse body and a weird head.

You're right, that is a funny looking animal. I've never heard of an Okapa. It sounds like a Dr. Suess animal
