Pool

This was the first time this summer our family got to go to the pool. We swam all around. We played with our diving sticks from easter. The waterslides did not work. Luke loved it all. I liked to walk with luke in the shallow water. After some swimming the Starbucks got here. We played Monkey in the middle in the water. After a long time of swimming we went home. It had been a great day.

Mom in Summer

I love Summer. My mom made a summer points system this summer. My moms blog might have told you about it, but if not it's a system where we get points by working, blogging, and more. We spend points on playing Wii, eating special treats, and more. Here is a list of things you do to get points and how many points you get for doing it:

  • doing a job 10
  • doing a job with a happy attitude 20
  • take care of Luke for half-hour 30
  • Cleaning room without being asked 30
  • practice piano with happy attitude 30
  • writing a letter, drawing a picture, making a card, or blogging 20
  • reading for 20 minutes (1 hour for me) 30
  • no fighting pushing or being mean for whole day 30
  • laundry folding for 30 minutes 50
  • no getting out of bed, fighting, and being quiet in bed 20
  • setting the table and helping with dinner 20
  • holding Matthew if Mom asks 20
  • letting mom sleep in 20
  • Wednesday morning cleanup without complaining 50
  • working on faith in god things, reading scriptures, reading the friend, or working on a FHE lesson 20

Today she made us take care of kids so she could take a nap. Luke was sleeping. I held Matthew the whole hour and a half. He fell asleep in my arms. Mom gave me 50 points like she gave everyone else, but with an extra 25 points. Now I have 655 points

Here are things you do to spend points:

  • watching a special kid movie 100
  • 1 hour of Wii time 100
  • staying up late till 10:00 50
  • golf with dad 150
  • ice cream or other special snack 50
  • Special time with mom or dad 150
  • going to the movie theater 250
  • going out for ice cream 150
  • Computer time 50
  • new book 250
  • walk with mom and dad 150
  • $1 100

I love taking care of Luke or holding Mathew for points.

Mom just bought some cool new plates to use for outside. We have been having snow cones she bought. We have flavors watermelon, Pina Colada, grape, and root beer. My mom has been using Quickutz Silhouette to make words and put them on the wall. she has the words BUSY SCHEDULE by our calender and FLOUR and SUGAR on our flour and sugar cans in the color brown. she also put DARK and LIGHT over the laundry baskets. She has been blogging a bunch. She is the best mom EVER. She has been letting us have a lot of Kool-Aid and Diet Mountain Dew. I love to talk to her. I Love My Mom.

I will tell you about the rest of the family later.

Monopoly King

I love monopoly. It is so fun. I played with Katie, Mom, and Dad.

I was winning from the very beginning. I had a bunch of $500 bills the whole game. I made my fortune by owning all the railroads and the whole first road... Baltic to Oriental Ave.

First Katie lost all her money.

Then Mom lost all her money.

Last Dad started to beat me, but then I turned it around and I destroyed him.

I won the game with 13,475 dollars. I love this game!

New DS Games

I traded in a bunch of Gamecube & Gameboy games at GameStop for 2 awesome DS games. I got Mario Party DS & Yoshi's Island DS.

Yoshi's Island DS is a game where you are a baby (Mario, Peach, DK, Wario, or Bowser) riding a Yoshi. You have to save Baby Luigi because he has been captured by Kamek. (an evil witch) It is very exciting. I am on world 4. I have not unlocked Bowser yet.

In Mario Party you have been tricked into a trap by Bowser. He used his Minimizer to Shrink you. You must travel through Gardens, Music Rooms, Jungles, Libraries, and Bowser's Castle to get back to normal size. There are many fun minigames. I finished it already.

A walk at the River Walk

On Monday after dinner we went on a walk at the River Walk. We went left instead of right if you are thinking that the backgrounds are unfamiliar. It was a great day. I liked spending time with my mom and sisters. I was the only boy. I miss Luke. Here are a few pictures of our walk...

My Lukey Boy

I Love Luke. He is so cute. When Katie, Emily, and I get home from school, he runs to hug me. But when the girls try to take him from me, he would not leave me. I love playing outside with him.

This is a picture of Luke hugging me after my first soccer game.

I love Soccer!

I love soccer. Soccer is awesome.

I had a great first game. Our team name is BLAZE. We tied 2-2. My positions for the first game were: forward and center mid-field. My coach said we all did really good. I didn't score any goals but I still had a lot of fun. I got hit with the ball two times, once on my thigh and once on my head and hand at the same time. It hurt, but after some more running it was better.

Ouch! I sneezed.

A couple of nights ago I was in the bathroom standing by the sink. All of a sudden I sneezed. It was such a big sneeze that my forehead hit the counter in front of the sink. Ouch. I lied down on the bed for a few seconds and then I went to tell mom. I showed her the big bump on my head and she said, "What happened?" I told her that I sneezed and then we both got the giggles and we were laughing so hard and couldn't stop. Mom kept laughing, which made me keep laughing, which made Mom keep laughing. She said she was going to pee her pants but that only made us laugh harder. We are getting the giggles right now just thinking about it. Then Megan came in and Mom said, "Why are you out of bed?" and she said, "I need to wash my feet." That made us both start laughing all over again. Mom said, "You can wash your feet in the morning" which made us laugh even harder. It was a giggly night.

Reading is Awesome!

I love reading.

I read "The Hobbit" and have been reading "The Lord of the Ring" series. I just finished 'The fellowship of the Ring" which is the first book. They are great books. I had to borrow my teachers "The Two Towers" because I couldn't wait until I got home to start reading it.

Before I read the Hobbit I was reading the 'Eragon' Series. I will get book #3 when the library calls us. I'm on a waiting list for it. They are awesome books.

In our school we can become 'a millionaire' by reading twenty five chapter books or reading a million words. I am a TWO millionaire because I have read two million words and once I read 50,000 more words then I will be a THREE millionaire.
